While podcasting as a delivery form has no specific ties to a commercial entity, the UCLA on iTunes U project does require the use of Apple's iTunes desktop application. iTunes is available as a free download from Apple Computer for both Macintosh and Windows computers.

Downloading and Installing iTunes
The following demonstration video is intended for individuals installing the software on their personal machines. If you want to install iTunes on your workstation, contact your local network people or CSC for information on your department/area policy of software installation.
